Loved the hotel nearly as much as we loved Florence. The city is so beautiful that the walk between the sites is of ten the best part. We left our car in the car park and didn't touch it again until it was time to leave. The hotel was clean, ef ficient, and fantastically placed. There was a good restaurant just a few doors down, and it seemed that all the main attractions were just a short walk away. We were also lucky enough to get a room with a good view!

Although my friend and me booked this hotel the night before we left Rome, from what I have heard from other travellers we struck gold. When we arrived at the station it was easy to find. The staff help us find everything we needed, they even directed us to a good restaurant where we ate the best steaks we had since we came to Italy. The room was spacious, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Florence is small so nowhere is far away, and the hotel is well positioned, particularly when you are running late for the train as we where! It was also nice having such easy access to the Internet, as when you are on a European trip, there are always a lot of emails to send home. All in all good value for money, and it has everything you need for a city break.
